The job is marked complete with photo evidence. Payment releases, and you leave a rating.

What happens to your payment
The part most people worry about, explained plainly.
1. You pay a 20% deposit
For card bookings, a 20% deposit confirms your slot. The remaining 80% is charged automatically once your scheduled service time arrives — nothing to handle on the day. Choosing cash? Nothing is charged upfront at all.
2. We hold it in escrow
Your money sits with ServEaseHub — not with the provider. They can see the job is paid for, but they can't touch the funds until the work is actually finished and signed off.
3. Released after the job
Once the provider marks the job complete (with photo evidence), you get a 24-hour window to raise a dispute. If all is well, the payment is released to them.
If it goes wrong
Cancellations, refunds & disputes
Nobody plans for this part, but it's the part that matters most when it happens.
Free cancellation
Cancel free of charge up to 2 hours before your scheduled time. Cancel later than that and a fee may apply, since your provider has already set aside the slot.
Provider running very late
If a provider hasn't started more than an hour past your scheduled time, you can cancel from the app for a full refund — and it's recorded against their account.
Raise a dispute
Not happy with the work? Raise a dispute with photos within 24 hours of completion. Our team reviews both sides and decides: full refund, partial refund, or release to the provider.
